Book bags only need to come in on a Tuesday and a Friday, when we change the children's books.
Uniform
Can all uniform and PE kits, please be named. Uniform costs so much money and we are finding that children are losing jumpers, cardigans ect on a regular basis.
Topics
Last term our topic was about 'Friendship' and 'People who help us'. This term our topic is called 'What happens when I fall asleep' which incorporates learning about, bedtime routines, nocturnal animals, the moon and stars, the importance of sleep and rest and the difference between day and night.
Half termly voluntary 50p fund
Thank you so much parents/carers for your contribution! With this fund I have so far bought biscuits, hot chocolate, cups and wet wipes for forest school. In maths next week,we are weighing materials for making playdough, which include, flour, oatmeal, oil ect.
Last term the children enjoyed learning about our topic of 'Dinosaurs'. We visited Hall Place, where the children had the opportunity to see life size mechanical working dinosaurs.

Stem Week at Longlands
Children enjoyed a fun week of maths and science activities. We read the story of 'Ten Black Dots' which served as a stimulus for many of our exciting maths activities. In science the children explored their five senses and we made our own class book, filled with all their fun learning experiences and experiments.
