Online Payments

An easier way to make school payments

Our school uses Bromcom's MyChildAtSchool (MCAS) system, which allows parents and carers to make payments for trips, clubs, activities and other school items quickly and securely online.

Payments can be made at any time using a smartphone, tablet, or computer, providing a convenient cashless way to manage school payments.

When an item requires payment, you will receive a notification through MCAS, where you can view details and make payments securely online.

MyChildAtSchool (MCAS) App

We strongly recommend downloading the free MyChildAtSchool (MCAS) app, available for both Apple and Android devices. The app allows you to:

  1. Make online payments quickly and securely
  2. View messages and communications from the school
  3. Complete online forms and consent requests
  4. Access information relating to your child

Simply search for "MyChildAtSchool" in your device's app store and follow the registration email link provided by the school.

Cashless Payments

Please note that our school operates a cashless payment system and does not accept cash payments. The only exception may be for specific charity fundraising events, where cash donations may be accepted.

Accessing Your Child's Information

Once logged into MCAS, you will be able to view all children linked to your account. If your child does not appear, please contact the school office so that we can check and update your contact details if necessary.

Frequently Asked Questions

I've forgotten my password. What should I do?

Use the Forgot Password option on the MCAS login page to reset your password. If you continue to experience difficulties accessing your account, please contact the school office for assistance.

How do I know if a payment has been successful?

Once a payment has been processed successfully, it will appear in your payment history and the item will be marked as paid.

What happens if my child is absent after I have paid for a school meal?

If your child is absent for the full school day, any meal bookings will be managed in accordance with the school's meal procedures. If your child will be absent for part of the day and will not require a meal, please notify the school office as soon as possible.

Can another parent or family member make payments?

Yes. Any parent or carer who has their own linked MCAS account can make payments and access information relating to the child.

Who should I contact if I have questions about a payment or charge?

If you have any queries regarding payments, charges, trips, meals, or purchases, please contact the school office via email at admin@longlands.bexley.sch.uk,  who will be happy to help.
