School Closure Monday 19th of September
Tue 13 Sep 2022The school will be closed on Monday 19th of September on the national Bank Holiday for the funeral of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth. School will resume as normal the following day Tuesday 20th of September.

Open days for new parents - 2022
Fri 01 Oct 2021To all prospective parents and carers,
We are delighted that we are now able to offer tours of the school due to the easing of many COVID 19 restrictions. However, as we still need to be mindful of health and safety measures we are limiting numbers to 10 adults per tour. We would kindly ask parents to avoid bringing small babies and prams as this causes congestion in the corridors on tours. If you need to bring a baby, you can either leave the pram in the school foyer or use an alternative means of carrying baby around during the tour. (Please note that we will also be offering tours in January should there be a high demand for tour places.)
We request that you call the school office to book a place on one of the tours and should further restrictions be re-introduced we would potentially have to cancel at short notice.
In the meantime, I suggest that you look through our website and watch the virtual tour which we produced last year.
I look forward to welcoming you to a tour of Longlands soon.

Arrangements for Monday 13th September due to Bexley Selection test
Thu 09 Sep 2021We would like to remind you that school will be closed for the morning of 13th September as some of our year 6 children will be taking the Bexley Selection Test.
Children taking the test in school should arrive at normal time and enter the building through the usual entrance.
The school will re-open for all pupils in the afternoon after lunch. Timings are as follows:
KS1 : 1PM : The gate will open at 12.55pm
Children should line up on the playground as usual where they will be met by their class teacher.
KS2 : 1.30pm: The gate will open at 1.25pm
Children should enter the building through the usual entrance and go straight to class.
