Important Information for Parents/Carers
- Outdoor PE is on a Monday afternoon. Indoor PE is on Thursday morning in the hall.
- We change our reading books on a Tuesday and Friday. Book bags to be in on those days only.
- Forest School will be on a Thursday afternoon.

Maths Sharing activities in the mud kitchen!
World Book Day! We had lots of fun working with the Year 6 children!
Outdoor Problem Solving Maths activities involving capacity! The children worked as a team!
Outdoor PE over at the field! The children are now becoming confident travelling across the Trim Trail!
This term we are learning about animals. We are looking at their similarities and differences. What do the children notice and observe when looking and learning about these animals? This term we are planning a visit to Colchester zoo,to find out more about a range of different animals.

Our education workshop at the zoo! The children learnt how camouflage helps protect certain animals from predators and prey!
We were able to feed some of the giraffes! It was so exciting! They had really long tongues!!
We got to ride on the Madagascar Express train! It took us to see lots of animals, including Flamingos, Wolves, Jackals and Baboons!
The tigers were amazing! They kept walking,then running around the different areas. The children liked it when they were play fighting! Can you spot where the tiger is in the first picture?
We saw the majestic lion sitting on the large stone! He kept roaring at us!!
The children thought the Baboons were very funny, particularly when they were doing back flips of their platforms and playing it with each other!!
The children got feed the elephants with some fruit!
The children thought the penguins were very cute and they liked the way they walked!
A wonderful and exciting day was had by all!

Problem Solving - How can you get over to the other Island?
We found treasure!
We made our own treasure maps, using tea stained paper!
We decorated biscuits with coloured icing drawing pictures of flags, skull and cross bones, swords, islands and treasure!
