• Lowry Class Staffing Arrangements.

  Dear Parents and Carers,

   

  As I promised yesterday I am writing to you with an update on the staffing situation in Lowry Class.

  You will recall I informed you that I have been interviewing a number of teachers over the last few days. Unfortunately there has not been anyone of a suitably high calibre that I feel is good enough to work with the children in Lowry Class. Therefore in consultation with the Chair of Governors I have made a decision to deploy staff from within the school in order to provide the much needed stability and consistency for these pupils. I am delighted that Mrs Clarke has agreed to job share the teaching of Lowry with Mr King until the end of term. The week will generally be structured with Mrs Clarke working in class Monday to Wednesday and Mr King will take over on Thursdays and Fridays. As I am sure you are aware, they are both teachers of the highest calibre and experience.

  I hope that you are suitably re-assured by this news and that the children can look forward to an exciting term ahead. Going forward I will continue to focus on finding the right person to take over in Lowry in January. I will of course update you on this nearer the time.
